# Dashboard

> The dashboard shows today's calorie ring and macro trio, a week strip, and a consistency map across 30 days, 90 days or a year.

The dashboard answers two questions: **how much is left today**, and **am I
being consistent**. Not much more.

## Today

The **calorie ring** is the large figure in the middle. It shows what you have
eaten against your target — which comes from your
[profile and targets](https://kallo.fit/en/docs/profile-and-targets).

The **macro trio** sits below it: protein, carbs and fat, each against its
target. Figures always carry their unit — `P: 38g`, never `P 22%`.

**Today's meals** lists what you have logged, in time order. Tap a meal to open
its per-dish detail.

## Week strip

Seven cells, one per day. It shows your recent rhythm without opening a chart.

## Consistency map

This is the part most people find useful over time — a grid of days, viewable
across 30 days, 90 days, or a year.

Colour shows how closely you tracked your target, and the scale is **diverging**
rather than good/bad: there is a colour for over, a colour for under, and one
for on target. Labels are words — `On target`, `Slightly over`, `Far over` —
never a bare percentage.

> **An empty day is not a bad day**
>
> A day you logged nothing looks different from a day you logged and went over.
> Those are not the same thing, and merging them would make the map lie.

## Weight

The weight chart lives in the same area, with a trend line and a projection.
Detail in [Weight](https://kallo.fit/en/docs/tracking/weight).

## When it is still empty

If you have just started, most of this sits in a waiting state. That is
correct — a chart drawn from two days of data says nothing. Log for a few days
and come back.
