Weight
Daily weight is noisy data. Water, salt, digestion and sleep can move the number a kilo or two within 24 hours while your body fat has not changed at all.
Kallo plots both: the points you logged, and the trend line running through them.
Logging weight
There is a quick entry on the dashboard. One value per day; logging again the same day overwrites the earlier one.
Reading the trend
The trend line smooths short-term movement. It is what you should be watching — not today's point.
If you are cutting and the trend has been flat for two weeks while you have been hitting your target, there are a few possibilities: the estimates are running low, your activity has changed, or you are holding water. The trend line shows you that; a single heavy morning does not.
Projection
From the current trend, Kallo extrapolates forward to show the pace you are on. This is an extrapolation, not a promise — it assumes everything stays as it is, and it rarely does.
If the projection implies a sharper pace than is healthy, revisit the aggression slider in your profile.
How much data it needs
A trend needs a few weeks to mean anything. In the first week the trend line is close to just repeating the points — there is not enough data to smooth.
